1About the Service

Nawras is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent drivers for shared rides within the city. It is built with an Arabic-first interface to serve Arabic-speaking users in particular; anyone who meets the eligibility requirements may use it.

Nawras does not provide transportation itself. Drivers are independent and are not employees of Nawras; they are responsible for providing the ride.

2Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old.

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Your account is personal; do not share or transfer it.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account.

3Bookings, fares and payment

• An estimated fare is shown before you confirm a ride. The final fare may change if the route, destination or waiting time changes.
• Payment is made using the method shown in the app (cash or electronic where available).
• Cancellation or waiting fees may apply, as shown in the app before you confirm.
• Extra charges such as bridge and motorway tolls are paid by the passenger when the trip uses them.

4Rules of conduct

All users agree to:

• Treat others with respect, without discrimination, harassment, violence or threats.
• Not use the Service for any illegal activity or to carry prohibited items.
• Not damage the vehicle; passengers are liable for damage or cleaning costs they cause.
• Wear seat belts and follow traffic rules.
• Not misuse the rating system or make false reports.

We may suspend or close any account that breaks these rules.

5Driver obligations

• Hold a valid driving licence and all permits and licences required by law to carry passengers.
• Operate a roadworthy, registered vehicle with valid insurance that covers carrying passengers.
• Provide genuine documents for verification and update them when they expire.
• Obey traffic laws and never drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs or fatigue.
• Not refuse or treat passengers differently because of race, religion, sex, nationality or disability.
• Drivers are responsible for their own tax obligations on their earnings.

6Safety

In an emergency, call 112 immediately. You can report any safety issue in the app or via Support.

7Intellectual property

The Nawras name, logo, apps and content belong to us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the apps for personal purposes. You may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the Service.

8Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that a driver will always be available or that the Service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Nawras is not liable for indirect damages or for the acts of drivers or passengers. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.

9Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts for breach of these terms or for security or legal reasons.

10Changes

We may change these terms. The updated version will be posted here and we will notify you in the app about material changes. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Istanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over disputes, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts.

If the Arabic and English versions differ, the English text prevails.
